Class Schedule


Weekly Wednesday and Friday Gentle Yoga are drop-in classes. No pre-registration needed. So, if it says registration closed, come anyway!

Class Series: Gentle Yoga for Strength, Balance, Function, and Stress Resilience
With special guest teacher Mary Hilliker, RDN, E-RYT-500, C-IAYT, Certified Viniyoga Teacher, Yoga Therapist

 

Mondays, August 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
9-10 am

The very things we have to do or love to do can impact the low back, hips, knees, feet,
upper back, neck and shoulders. Whether it’s a job that has you sitting at a computer,
doing a physical job, landscaping, outdoor chores at home, or your fun activities like
biking, hitting the links, playing pickleball, or gardening, your body will benefit from a
yoga practice that strengthens, helps unwind tension, cultivates better balance, and
tones your nervous system for stress relief.

Join Mary Hilliker for a 4-week series on Mondays in August (4, 11, 18, 25) at 9:00 am
at Roots Yoga. Mary has been teaching yoga for 26 years and providing Yoga Therapy
for 16 years. She enjoys teaching practices that help people discover tools for
everyday life so that you can do what you have to do and what you love to do.

Fee: Use your punchcard, $15 for drop-in, or $45 for the series
