Jamie Schmiling
Owner/Massage Therapist/Yoga Teacher/PH Sound Practitioner
I found a passion for mind-body wellness after taking my first yoga class in 2011. The desire to learn more led me to leave the healthcare field and accomplish a 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2018, Reiki Practitioner Certifications, Peter Hess® Sound Massage Practitioner in 2021, and Licensed Massage Therapist in 2022. I've further continued my education through additional trainings which include Restorative Yoga, Meditation, Vedic Thai Massage, Gong Training, CoreStones Therapeutic Hot stone Massage, and SargaSilks Multidimensional Bodywork. I enjoy connecting the mind, body, and breath to help achieve harmony within.
My husband and I purchased and renovated the 1950's building where Roots Yoga and Healing stands today. I am honored to serve in my hometown of Algoma, WI where my "roots" are.
I love being on this journey of helping others find peace and balance within.

Brian Reinke
Massage Therapist
Brian is the owner of Healing Touch Massage and provides Massage Therapy at Roots Yoga and Healing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and some Saturdays. Customized sessions may include deep tissue and relaxation techniques, cupping and hot stones, abdominal work, and aspects of Thai, stretching or energy work. Each session incorporates a variety of modalities to ensure a massage experience that is unique and tailored to your individual needs. Brian brings 10 years of massage therapy experience, has family roots in the community, and has lived just south of Algoma for over 20 years.
